1. How do I enable or change my Bedtime Reminder?
Open Nightly, navigate to the Profile tab, and locate Bedtime Reminder under Preferences. Toggle the switch to ON. You can tap the scheduled time button (e.g.,
10:30 PM) at any time to adjust your preferred evening notification hour. If notifications are disabled at the iOS system level, tap System Settings to grant notification access.
2. How do I restore my Nightly Plus subscription on a new iPhone?
If you upgraded your phone or reinstalled the app, make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID used for your original purchase. Open Nightly, go to Profile > Nightly Plus or tap any locked feature to open the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases in the top-right corner. Your access will be instantly reactivated without any charge.
3. Can I use Nightly without an internet connection?
Yes! The full text of all 66 books of the World English Bible, your saved prayers, reflection notes, and ambient sleep sounds are stored directly on your device. You can enjoy quiet bedtime contemplation during flights or in low-connectivity cabins.
4. How can I switch the narration voice?
Go to the Profile tab and tap Narration Voice. You can sample and select from our serene narrator voices (such as Elijah, Gabriel, Seraph, or Celeste) to find the tone that best soothes your spirit before sleep.
5. How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled directly by Apple to ensure total user control. You can cancel anytime by opening your iPhone’s Settings > [Your Name/Apple ID] > Subscriptions > Nightly and tapping Cancel Subscription. You will retain access until the end of the billing period.
6. Which Bible translation is used in Nightly?
Nightly uses the World English Bible (WEB), a high-quality modern public domain translation based on the American Standard Version (ASV) and the Greek Majority Text. It was selected for its accuracy, literary beauty, and accessibility without theological bias.
